DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS

2015 - 2017; 2019 - 2020

As a veteran myself, I know firsthand the challenges that come with transitioning from military service into civilian life. That's why I decided to continue my service by working with and for veterans. As a vocational rehabilitation specialist, I helped our most vulnerable veterans gain employment, access benefits, and services, and ultimately transform their lives. Throughout my career, I have seen and experienced the impact of these initiatives firsthand, and the positive results have been incredible. From decreasing homelessness among veterans to increasing access to medical care and employment opportunities, I am proud to have been a part of this critical mission.

As a professional with experience in various roles and responsibilities at various times, supporting our veterans has always been my top priority. Whether it was helping them enroll within the Veteran Affairs healthcare system or assisting those seeking treatment, our veterans' hard work and dedication deserve the utmost respect and care.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS

2010 - 2014; 2016

After graduating high school, I made a decision that would shape the course of my life - I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. And thus began a journey that would take me across oceans and borders into some of the most challenging experiences I have ever had. My first duty station was in Okinawa, Japan, with the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. I managed and supported tracking the manpower of the Wing across the Pacific. In addition, I participated in joint operations with our Filipino, Japanese, and Thai partners in successful military exercises.

Then, I transferred to Quantico, Virginia, as my last tour of duty, supporting the Headquarters Marine Corps and working with federal agencies in validating current and former Marine members. And if that wasn't enough, I spent time supporting the 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion in readiness exercises as a reservist.
